“Dr. O.A Okharedia is a skilled general surgeon and Hepato-Pancreatico Biliary (HPB) surgery fellow based in Pretoria, South Africa. With a strong academic foundation, Dr. Okharedia holds an MBChB from the University of Cape Town, FCS(SA), and MMed from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University.

Dr. Okharedia’s expertise in HPB surgery is complemented by his recent recognition as the best junior HPB fellow at the Gastroenterology Foundation of Sub-Saharan Africa fellows meeting.

Beyond his medical pursuits, Dr. Okharedia is passionate about mentoring men to become positive role models in society, promoting values of respect, responsibility, and protection for women and children. His commitment to both medical excellence and community leadership makes him a respected figure in his field.”

Dr. Akwaowo Ubon Akpabio is a multifaceted medical professional, entrepreneur, and scholar whose career bridges the worlds of surgical excellence, healthcare leadership, and strategic innovation. He is the founder and director of Dr AU Akpabio Inc, a thriving general surgical private practice operating across two provinces in South Africa. His clinical expertise is grounded in evidence-based care and patient-centered outcomes, with a growing focus on hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB) surgery.

Dr AU Akpabio is currently pursuing a Hepatopancreaticobiliary Surgery Fellowship and an MPhil in Surgery at the University of Pretoria, both of which reflect his commitment to deepening subspecialist expertise and contributing to academic surgical advancement in South Africa.

In parallel, he is expanding his leadership impact through an Executive MBA jointly conferred by IE Business School (Spain) and Brown University (USA). This global program equips him with cutting-edge knowledge in strategy, innovation, and organizational transformation—skills he actively integrates into his ventures.

He is also the founder of Grace Healthcare Group, a medical management consultancy focused on healthcare systems strengthening, clinical governance, and digital transformation. Through Grace, he partners with organizations to align clinical services with business performance, improve operational efficiency, and prepare healthcare businesses for scale and autonomy.

Known for his clarity of vision, cross-sector agility, and systems thinking, Dr. AU Akpabio  is committed to reshaping how clinical and executive leadership can co-evolve. He continues to build resilient enterprises and impactful collaborations at the intersection of surgery, business, and healthcare systems transformation.

Duduetsang Mmoloke is a Clinical Associate at GraceHealthcare Group, where she collaborates with a skilled team of general surgeons to provide high-quality patient care. She obtained her Bachelor of Clinical Medical Practice (BCMP) from the University of Pretoria in 2025 and began her clinical work with the practice in December 2024.

Duduetsang is involved in various aspects of surgical care, including pre-operative assessments, assisting during procedures, and supporting patients through their recovery. She aims to create a reassuring environment where patients feel heard, supported, and confident in the care they receive.

Outside of work, Duduetsang enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is committed to continuous learning and growth as a healthcare professional, with a focus on delivering care that is both compassionate and patient-centered.

Enthusiastic and driven, Khomotso Mahlare is embarking on an exciting journey in the healthcare field.
